Ali Ghani has a rich educational and professional background that makes him uniquely qualified to champion the PRISM cause. Following in his father’s footsteps, with a desire to make a difference, he began medical school in Nigeria, but soon yearned for another challenge. He elected to pursue and obtain his Electrical Engineering Diploma at SAIT Polytechnic, and thereafter, a Bachelor of Applied Information Systems Technology. He then moved into the Information Technology sector, where he worked successfully for several large corporations as a Network Specialist. At the same time, he slowly tried his hand in real estate, and in 2000, heeded that growing passion and sought a formal career. He soon found his stride at PRISM.
Since its inception, Ali Ghani has played many roles at PRISM Group of Companies, but most recently has taken on his largest mandate yet – directing and guarding its vision. As the President of PRISM Group, Ali is responsible for connecting the organizational vision to daily operations, and he does so with a contagious commitment to excellence. In addition to managing operations, he is responsible for creating the investment vehicle, strategies and criteria for each project that carries the PRISM banner. He also oversees the acquisition, approvals, permits, pre-construction, construction, post-construction, resolution of development issues and warranty of all of PRISM projects. With an eye for detail, and a carefully honed systematic approach to planning, Ali ensures that each project is delivered on time, on budget, and is unsurpassed in quality. In fact, as a testament to his heart for the projects and his commitment to their success, he continues to work on-site with all development and construction teams. Determined not to compromise the quality and integrity of any project, despite market pressures, he works tirelessly to ensure each project is delivered with excellence.
Dr. Abdul Ghani is a General Practitioner by profession, and received his medical training from University of Punjab in Pakistan in 1969. Shortly thereafter, he volunteered to be relocated to Nigeria where he worked for 23 years as a missionary doctor. While in Nigeria, Dr. Ghani went to remote areas and acquired land, secured permits and built clinics, hospitals and dispensaries for less fortunate people. In doing so, his passion for real estate with a purpose grew, as did his knowledge and commitment to creating developments that were functional, adaptable, safe and of the highest quality possible. The health and well-being of his patrons depended on it.
In Canada, that passion and dedication continued to flourish as Dr. Ghani began real estate developments and private investment syndications in 1995. He started a private family real estate investment firm, and worked with trusted business associates and partners to acquire lands with potential for development. Dr.Ghani was involved in 2 private land developments in Airdrie, primarily Luxstone.
After the successful completion of the Luxstone land subdivision, he decided to take the company to the next level by expanding the scope of his projects, and at the same time, making them accessible to private investors. PRISM was born.
Dr. Ghani brings to PRISM Group of Companies a wealth of knowledge, experience, and foundational values upon which the organization operates and thrives. As the Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Ghani is instrumental in all organizational planning, accounting, and gathering key information for reporting, but beyond his duties, he is personally invested in ensuring that all PRISM projects are highly profitable and meet the needs of the community.

Over the 30 years in business, through due diligence and discipline, Mr. Elkadri has adopted numerous business situations which yielded in maximum profitability and opened doors to new ventures and ideas continually.
After starting a very successful construction company, the opportunity to take over an unsuccessful Marble and Granite company came to light in 2003. He then started developing connections internationally with established marble and granite quarries, as well as capitalized on his previous experience and connections with condo developers and their need for high quality kitchen counter tops.
Today, his company has become one of the top Granite Manufacturing companies in Edmonton due to Mr. Elkadri‘s commercial experience, his focus on client needs, and attention to detail. In 2007, production peaked with the purchase of bridge saws and a computer assisted CNC machine for micro-millimetre precision. Accent continues to flourish even during hard economic times.
Thereafter, a Land Acquisition and Development Company was also established by Mr. Elkadri in 2006. With a strong foothold in construction, the move to mixed use condo developments was an organic progression. With success in mind, Mr. Elkadri established a land acquisition company for the purpose of land development, as well as private residential property acquisitions. Between 2006 and 2008, his company purchased and sold land for the purpose of development, for a total of over $50 Million. Mr Elkadri takes great pride in his accomplishments and his extreme love for his community and City of Edmonton. When not pursuing business opportunities, he gladly enjoys dedicating his spare time by giving back to the community through various charity work and not-for-profit affiliations. He continues to do so to this day and hopes to continue to do this for years to come.
